Welcome to our website and our pub and restaurant where we have tried to introduce a little bit of the ‘England’ into a little town in Sweden called Gränna.
The newly built bar is as close to a English bar as you will find anywhere outside the UK with a vast selection of beers and ales such as Irish Guinness, English Spitfire and Czech republic Staropramen and Gambrinus, which are all on draft. But there are lots more of different drinks and beers to choose from.

The food at Amalia’s is also varied and sometimes different from anywhere else you may visit in Sweden, we have typical Swedish Lunch menu’s to Evening a la carte.

Marc and Jane who now own and run the pub and Restaurant have tried to vary the type of food and drink that is served in Amalia’s and have used there cultures and experience to influence the changes , although both Marc and Jane are from the UK, Jane is Scottish and Marc is of Indian decent so it is therefore not unusual to see different dishes or drinks on the menus, you can also request special Indian, Scottish or even English Menus if you are booking a table for at least 6 persons and give us at least 3 days to prepare.

The atmosphere is also very ‘English and friendly’ so why not come and visit us.
